been doing with  patterning.

Our goals for patterning are to identify, describe, create and extend simple patterns.  Similar to sorting, we begin with colour patterns because colour is an attribute most children can identify and describe.

 

You can ask your child to describe the pattern and identify what type of pattern it is (AB, AAB).
